In 2012, I was referred to Dress for Success Austin by my counselor at Austin Recovery. During my consultation, I was privileged to meet and work with a marvelous volunteer, Judy Rhode. She was most gracious and assisted me with rebuilding a professional wardrobe and reworking my resume and cover letters.

Since that time, I have returned to my hometown, Bryan-College Station, TX, rebuilt my career and returned to graduate school. In the spring of 2014, I became Dr. Laurie English. I wore the interview suit the day I defended my dissertation.
